Biographical / Historical
The Parkland College Board of Trustees consists of seven members elected by the residents of District #505, and a student representative elected by the student body. Serving for staggered six-year terms, the trustees provide local control and direction for the college and operate in accordance with written policies and procedures published in the Parkland College Policies and Procedures Manual. The first Board of Trustees was elected in the year 1966.
