Early documentation may be found in the Department of Natural Sciences collection (RG 7-8) as Health Care instruction was originally part of the Life Sciences Division.
The first Director of Nursing was Sister Julia Moriarty (beginning in 1968).

This Record Group consists of former record groups: 110, 113, 114, 115, 116, 117, 119, & 187. Records were combined in 2014 to better reflect the organizational structure of Parkland College. The Record Group was reorganized again in 2022 for preservation and space purposes.
